Ixworth Play and Learn Centre is strongly committed to providing a happy, stimulating and fun environment for all children, regardless of
colour, race, disabilities and needs.
We aim to personally get to know each child, so that they are cared for and educated for very much as individuals. A wide range of toys,
learning aids and other equipment are made available for children to use, so they develop at their own pace, and work within the Early Years
Foundation Stage.
Every week KeyWorkers plan activities for individual children to appeal to the child's interest and learn through play. We as a setting
recognise the importance of play and how this has an effect on your child's learning and developing. We aim to cover the six key areas of
a child’s development. All “work” is accompanied with praise and encouragement; our aim is to allow each child to attain
their personal best.
We believe it is important to have a routine to a child’s day, to show them consistency, and to make them feel secure in our fun
and friendly environment.
We place great emphasis on helping children to recognise and respect moral values and understanding the needs and differences of others.
